BRUCE CHATWIN
Charles Bruce Chatwin FRSL (13 May 1940 – 18 January 1989) was an English travel writer, novelist and journalist. His first book, In Patagonia (1977), established Chatwin as a travel writer, although he considered himself instead a storyteller, interested in bringing to light unusual tales. He won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for his novel On the Black Hill (1982), while his novel Utz (1988) was shortlisted for the Booker Prize. In 2008 The Times ranked Chatwin as number 46 on their list of "50 Greatest British Writers Since 1945."
THE ATLANTIC MUSEUM RE-OPENED
His art objects are therefore positive examples of nature conservation. His works contribute to improving environmental awareness and at the same time offer the opportunity to admire the natural beauty of the fascinating underwater world.
YULETIDE COMES TO YAIZA
The crowd was perfectly behaved and strolled at an even pace around the Belen, shown at the top of the page.. An artificial, but artistically exquisite, Christmas Tree overlooked the procession, constantly changing shape and colour. The sound of the timples, guitars and some sort of bells, and the amazingly strong vocalists, not only rang right round the square, but also I´m sure rang right to the outskirts of town.
CARLY PEARCE
I will tell you that the Live album is coming out, [current No. 1 single] “What He Didn’t Do” is near the end of its life, so you’re going to get music sooner than you think. I think that a lot of people are going to assume that because I’m not going through a divorce and I’m quite happy that I’m going to be coming out with some fluffy love song, but that’s not what Carly Pearce does, so stay tuned. It’s literally the most proud I’ve ever been of a track. I’m really excited, I think it’s going to be unexpected in several different ways.
CINTIA MACHIN, sculptor
I remember being so impressed, when I was visiting schools in the UK as a poet and writing facilitator, how familiar teaching staff with preferred, and perhaps non-traditional, preferred learning methods amongst their pupils. Wonderful work like Cintia´s, all available to school children to in familiar environments will lead many of them to want to learn more about the history, geography and culture her sculptures represent

primary school PUPILS RESPONDING TO ART
Gordon Cheung paints much more than a broken down world. That he employs his art to imagine beyond the near future whilst also seeking, through his art, to understand his country´s historical past makes him both compelling and demanding of his audience.
