THE FCR BELT IS ON LANZAROTE

Hecher Sosa comes back home:

THE FCR BELT IS ON LANZAROTE

by Norman Warwick

Hecher Sosa  was, deservedly, received like a star in Terminal 1 of the César Manrique Airport in Lanzarote by dozens of family and friends as he recently returned home with a huge sporting prize.

Sosa defeated Tuomas Grönvall last month in Sweden, winning the FCR (Fight Club Rush) “Bantamweight” belt . With this he continues his meteoric rise in search of achieving his dream of fighting in the UFC.

All this occurred in a  week for the Lanzarote native who also won the award for “Best Athlete of the Year” at the Lanzarote Cabildo Sports Gala. This title, by the way, was picked up by his father, since Hecher was not on the island.

To date, the “Guanche Warrior” has achieved 8 victories as a professional and only one defeat. He has also been champion on the African continent, three times champion of Spain and third in the world as an amateur. Now, to all the achievements achieved we must add the FCR belt and many experts in the field consider that his time has come to make the definitive leap to the UFC.
