The Arts Go MARCHing on in 2022

We have already seen nearly twenty musical events and visited a number of visual arts exhibitions in 2022. AN ISLAND REMEMBERS

My column here at Lanzarote Information and my own daily blog at Sidetracks And Detours are each English Language publications. At Lanzarote Information I aim my writing at new English residents and visitors to Lanzarote by reporting, usually through offering news, interviews, previews and reviews, on the island´s arts offer. Sidetracks And Detours looks at the global arts scene and particularly at singer songwriters but Lanzarote arts events are also included.

CREATIVITY BACK ON THE ´WRITE´ PATH

Lanzarote Creative Writing Group, meanwhile, continues to fulfil exercises in genres such as flash fiction and generally create pieces of 500 to 1,500 words. Prospective members can be frightened off by technical literary terms but the remit of the group is to, first and foremost, simply enjoy putting pen to paper.
