She is the sister of British fashion model Tali Lennox, and daughter of Scottish singer Annie Lennox and Israeli film producer Uri Fruchtmann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has collaborated with Will Gregory of Goldfrapp on a tv soundtrack from which two low key singles have been released. She is further raising the bar now with the release of a more upbeat single called back At The Wrong. The Daily Mail reviewer likens it in tone and delivery to Adele\u00b4s Rolling In The Deep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having a Grammy award-winning mother setting the standard wasn\u2019t always easy for singer Lola Lennox &#8211; but whatever initial intimidation she felt she managed to turn into drive, she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b4I wrote the song about a relationship that was as exciting and passionate as it was tragic and difficult,\u00b4 she told Reuters recently in an interview from her home in Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b4I think everyone has those kind of compulsive relationships \u2026you know you\u2019re in a bit of a mess but you keep going back to it,\u201d she said, adding that she\u2019s \u00b4not in such a relationship any more.&nbsp;\u00b4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lola Lennox, who started singing when she was eight years old, said becoming a singer wasn\u2019t always a smooth journey. &nbsp;She had to overcome self-doubt and work hard to feel ready to launch her music career: \u00b4I really wanted to get \u2026 to a level that I was proud of,\u00b4 she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following in her mother\u2019s footsteps helped her meet people in the industry, but she still had to prove herself and she felt she had a lot to live up to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b4Having my mum as my mum &#8211; when I was younger, it was like a really high bar that I was trying to shoot for because I had this standard to get to \u2026when I was younger, it was maybe a little intimidating to me, but I turned that into a driving force.\u00b4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In April she enjoyed partnering with her mother to sing a duet of Eurythmic\u2019s hit <em>There Must Be An Angel&nbsp;<\/em>for Global Citizen\u2019s coronavirus fundraising concert One World: Together At Home. Annie Lennox also co-produced <em>Back At Wrong<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b4I feel lucky to have her there for me,\u00b4 Lola said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Lola Lennox doesn\u2019t like to type-cast her music into a theme she acknowledges that she is interested in people, psychology and examining emotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/photo-2-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2709\" width=\"315\" height=\"397\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/photo-2-8.jpg 634w, https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/photo-2-8-238x300.jpg 238w, https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/photo-2-8-559x705.jpg 559w, https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/photo-2-8-600x757.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 315px) 100vw, 315px\" \/><figcaption><strong>Lola Lennox on stage<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Lennox&#8217;s daughter Lola Lennox oozed glamour on Tuesday night, as she took to the stage at the star-studded\u00a0Serengeti premiere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The singer, 29, stunned in a black thigh-split gown as she performed at the Wallis Annenberg Centre for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She may have a posh English accent and live in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/entertainment\/celebrity\/take-look-inside-annie-lennoxs-13158491\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Los Angeles<\/a>&nbsp;but Lola Lennox is \u00b4proud of her Scottish roots\u00b4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her mother was, of course, one of the biggest stars of the eighties with Eurythmics, before her stellar solo success that has included an Oscar, Golden Globe, four Grammys and seven Brits, including a record six times crowned as best British female.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And now Lola, 29, is following her 65-year-old mum into the music industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her official debut single, Back At Wrong, is released today and according to one of Scotland\u00b4s major newspapers, The Daily Record, she hopes Scots will get behind her as much as they have backed Annie during her incredible career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lola told the Record: \u201cI love Scotland \u2013 the people, the nature and the history is all amazing, and I am proud of my Scottish roots.
