{"id":21594,"date":"2024-06-19T07:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-06-19T06:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aata.dev\/?p=21594"},"modified":"2024-06-18T17:05:23","modified_gmt":"2024-06-18T16:05:23","slug":"2010-music-by-north-west-composers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aata.dev\/index.php\/2024\/06\/19\/2010-music-by-north-west-composers\/","title":{"rendered":"2010\u00a0 MUSIC BY NORTH-WEST COMPOSERS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>CONCORD OF SWEET SOUNDS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rochdale Music Society Reviews<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2010&nbsp; MUSIC BY NORTH-WEST COMPOSERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>recalled by Rosa Marie Staves<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2010-2011season of concerts presented by the Rochdale Music Society began on Thursday, October 7th with a programme illustrative of the lively mixture of styles to be encountered among the music of composers who belong to the North West Composers Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The concert of music by North West Composers revealed the good acoustic properties of the building, which lends itself perfectly to the kind of instrumental and vocal sounds enjoyed by the attentive and appreciative audience on this first collaborative occasion bringing the RMS and NWCA together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1-21.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21595\" width=\"187\" height=\"191\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1-21.jpg 968w, https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1-21-294x300.jpg 294w, https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1-21-768x783.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1-21-36x36.jpg 36w, https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1-21-691x705.jpg 691w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 187px) 100vw, 187px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Piano music by\u00a0Colin Bayliss <strong><em>(left<\/em><\/strong>)\u00a0(Chairman of the NWCA) and\u00a0David\u00a0Forshaw\u00a0(Secretary NWCA) was deftly played by\u00a0Christopher\u00a0Pulleyn\u00a0and the composer respectively.
