As Lavery have a tour scheduled for this year across\u00a0the UK and Ireland Martin wondered if we would give the project a mention. The band has been together less than a year but in that time have\u00a0already performed at the National Gallery of Ireland and opened for Grammy award-winning artist\u00a0Sly5thAve.\u00a0The soon to be released single from the EP is &#8220;What I Want&#8221; and Martin linked it to us in a Wav format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also linked us into the full EP and we look forward to bringing you a couple of reviews in both Sidetracks And Detours and <strong>PASS IT ON<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have already informed Music In Portsmouth and some of their other newsletter compilers, who cover one leg of the itinerary I have seen so far and, of course, we also told Steve Bewick of HOT BISCUITS jazz fame because Lavery might fit pretty well on to his playlists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The band&#8217;s tour will see them play in Cardiff, Bath, Chichester, London and 2 nights in Belfast. The single will officially\u00a0be launched on 01\/05\/2024 at Dublin\u00b4s headline show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lavery emerges from the vibrant music scene of Dublin as an electrifying 8-piece collective poised to captivate audiences worldwide with their debut EP, &#8220;JADE GARDEN.&#8221; Formed in 2023, this powerhouse ensemble brings together seasoned musicians from various corners of the globe, each contributing a unique flavour to their mesmerizing cocktail of Jazz Fusion and Neo-Soul. With roots in acclaimed music performance colleges such as BIMM and DCU&#8217;s Jazz Program (Newpark), Lavery&#8217;s sonic tapestry reflects a rich blend of cultural diversity and technical excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their rise has been nothing short of meteoric, gracing prestigious Irish venues like The National Gallery of Ireland and Lost Lane, alongside captivating performances at international events like a Culture Night in The Sugar Club. Now, hungry to make their mark on the European scene, Lavery gears up for their first international performances at multiple UK venues and festivals in June of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bFronted by the captivating Anelise Furkin, Lavery&#8217;s live performances are more than just music; they&#8217;re immersive experiences that transcend traditional boundaries.
