Among that pack is \u201cLet \u2018Em In.\u201d The instantly catchy track reached No. 1 on Billboard\u2019s Adult Contemporary chart\u2013one of three top hits on that particular chart. Given its popularity, we\u2019d feel fine surmising that most people have heard \u201cLet \u2018Em In\u201d at least once, but do many people know the meaning behind the track? Then \u2018brother John\u2019 \u2013 I would be thinking either of John Lennon <strong><em>(right)<\/em><\/strong> , or Linda\u2019s brother, John. But the weirdest thing is, my wife now, Nancy, has a sister Susie and a brother John.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn\u2019t one of McCartney\u2019s richer narratives, but it\u2019s a nice sentiment nonetheless.
