Artist:Entrepreneur Day from FAC and CMU returns to English Folk Expo in Manchester.<br>Hosted by artist entrepreneurs from the Featured Artist Coalition, and with a team of music industry experts on hand to offer practical advice, A:E Day will show artists how to build a business around their music, including their music rights, live performances and direct-to-fan relationships. Attending artists will also get to meet professionals from across the industry, and understand how to find and choose a team of providers and partners to support their artist business.&nbsp; <strong>&nbsp;<\/strong> <strong>Tickets cost just \u00a310 + a \u00a31 booking fee.<\/strong> &nbsp;<br>The day runs from 10.00 to 15.30 at Home, 2 Tony Wilson Place, M15 4FN and includes a light lunch, coffees and teas. Artist tickets are available to any artists working in the genre, and can be music, whatever found here <a href=\"https:\/\/englishfolkexpo.us2.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=6b3c748ecdfabd7e597405245&amp;id=1bfcdec864&amp;e=87a9652e50\"><strong>https:\/\/www.wegottickets.com\/event\/554565\/<\/strong><\/a><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile the September&#8217;s Official Folk Albums Chart has been announced, featuring a new top seller and eight other new entries that demonstrate the breadth of music to be found within the wider folk genre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/1-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11945\" width=\"219\" height=\"146\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Ther new number 1 is the self-titled first-time solo debut album of Marcus Mumford <strong><em>(left)<\/em><\/strong> , of Mumford &amp; Sons, out on Island, a searingly honest album that notably deals with newly revealed childhood abuse.&nbsp; Featuring artists including Phoebe Bridgers and Brandi Carlisle, the album was also borne out of changes in Mumford &amp; Sons and the upheaval caused by Covid-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"328\" height=\"153\" src=\"https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11946\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2-3.jpg 328w, https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2-3-300x140.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 328px) 100vw, 328px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br>New at number 3 is &#8216;For The Night&#8217; (Elephant Sessions) the fourth album by Scottish Highlands band Elephant Sessions <strong><em>(right)<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 Combining trad, funk and electronica, described by Sound Cafe as, &#8216;blend of intricate tunes and engulfing guitars, with a bass and drum heavy backline.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/3-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11947\" width=\"217\" height=\"114\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/3-1.jpg 310w, https:\/\/aata.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/3-1-300x158.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 217px) 100vw, 217px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Folk Radio says of the album, &#8216;By using water and wind power, in an energy revolution supported by the local people and much of the album sets out to do just that..&#8217; Also making it into the top 10 at number 10 is fellow Scottish band Fara <strong><em>(left)<\/em><\/strong> with &#8216;Energy, Orkney now produces more than 100% of its energy needs and is now faced with something of a unique dilemma \u2013 what to do with that surplus energy?
